Has the TMMO lost it's luster?

I remember when Dave Ramsey was all the rage, people used to talk about his methods for paying off debt and saving money. Lately, though I hardly hear anything about his program, why?
 
I don't think it's lost it's luster, more that it's been talked about to death all over the Internet. Also, Dave seems to pitch services from partners a bit too much for me, so I don't listen any more. I liked his show when it was less commercialized.
 
I still listen to him now and then. Nothing wrong with his approach. Its not the fastest way to pay down debt, but it is the fastest way to get motivation by paying off the smaller debts first.
