Speaking of bad customer service, has anyone actually ever received money from a rebate they sent it?

I have a few times. Sometimes you have to get in touch with them to check status, or you'll never see it. I think they count on that.

I don't remember where I read it, but years ago I read an article about rebates and manufacturers love them. The rebates increase sales and more than 70% of purchasers never send it in!

 

[Middle Income]

I send in rebates and get them about half the time. Because of this, I'll only by it if it's a deal even without the rebate.
