There's a new scam going on. Criminals port out your cell number to a throw-away phone. Then they use it to have two-factor text message codes from your accounts like bank accounts. The authorization code goes to their phone, they put that in and use it to change the password on your account, login and transfer the money out.

Make sure your cell phone has a PIN required to make any changes such as porting. This will stop this from happening.

Wow that is sneaky. It really boggles my mind how much time is spent ripping people off and being criminals. Why not just get a job!?
