It is usually expensive to fly in June?

I know July tends to be a pricey month but June?

A friend of mine wants to come visit but she is worried that the cost of the tickets won't come down and may even go up. I know last year she didn't visit until September because it was just too expensive to fly.

For most destinations June through August are the most expensive. I know from past experience trying to research cheaper fairs and was disappointed. January and February were the cheapest if I remember right.

Yeah a lot of people vacation over the summer months so they hike up the prices because they spend more on fuel and usually the cost of fuel goes up too. She could try for a mid week day like Tuesday or Wednesday, those days are usually the cheapest but flight prices will likely go up.

I would say late May till late September are the most expensive times to fly aside from holiday rush days.
