Airfare hidden fees?

How do I go about seeing if certain airlines have hidden fees without actually purchasing? I want to see which ones give the best rates overall.
 
I wish I could help but I don't travel enough to know where to even look. You can try finding some fine print on the airline's page.
 
Some airlines are more upfront about this than others. Just Google around and look at reviews by real people to get an idea. Many of them are very honest about the prices they paid.
 
There is no way of knowing all of them. Some airlines have gotten really good at hiding them too because people wised up. Just research different airlines like suggested.
